Are your tours family-friendly?

Yes! Our airboat tours are designed with families in mind. We welcome guests of all ages and provide child-sized life jackets. The experience is both exciting and educational, making it perfect for kids and adults alike.

What's the difference between Marsh Beast and Florida Cracker Airboats?

Marsh Beast Airboat Rides is ideal for individuals, couples, or small groups who want to join a shared airboat tour.

Florida Cracker Airboats offers private tours reserved just for your group — great for families, reunions, or special occasions.

What kind of wildlife will we see?

You may spot alligators, turtles, wading birds, hawks, and more! While we can’t guarantee sightings, our experienced captains know the best places to look.

How long is the tour?

Tours last 50 minutes, depending on weather and water conditions. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time.

Do I need to book in advance?

We highly recommend booking ahead, especially during weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.

What should we bring?

We suggest bringing:

Sunglasses and sunscreen
A hat or visor
Water or snacks (no coolers allowed on the boat)
A camera or phone for photos

Ear protection and life jackets are provided.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. All tours are operated by USCG-licensed captains, and safety is our top priority. We conduct regular equipment checks and provide a safety briefing before every ride.

Are there age or weight restrictions?

There’s no minimum age, but children must be able to sit safely on a bench seat with a life jacket. No infants, and children are not allowed to ride in an adult’s lap. Please contact us ahead of time for guests with special needs or concerns.

What happens in bad weather?

For safety, tours may be delayed or rescheduled due to lightning, high winds, or heavy rain. We’ll work with you to rebook or offer a refund if needed.

I wish I could give 10 stars for this! My parents and I went on a tour with Captain Jeff this past week. It was an incredible experience! Jeff was so knowledgeable, witty, a great sense of humor, so kind, and he truly made the experience to be something we will always remember. We saw so many gators and beautiful wildlife. Great airboat ride with Captain John. My grandkids loved it. Saw lots of alligators from babies to full grown. Saw 2 baby ospreys. Weather was perfect.

We actually went in a Gator Bait boat. Captain Garrett was a great host. We saw gators, including a gator nest guarded by the momma (lower left of the picture, just her head sticking out of the water), lots of birds (Ospreys my fav, upper right branch in single tree pic). But the highlight for me was just taking the boat ride and seeing the scenery.

What an experience!!! I brought my 18 year old and we had a blast. Captain John was so knowledgeable about the types of birds and wildlife we saw. We saw some massive gators!! It was everything I expected and more. Highly recommend!! Whenever I have visitors come to visit we will be back!!

Took the 8am tour with Captain Jeff today, what a fantastic experience. The airboat alone was amazing, along with the Gators, Birds and all other wildlife, ducks, water flowers & plants. The wealth of knowledge that Captain Jeff possess along with his great sense of humour is second to none!!! This is an experience definitely not to be missed

Air boat tour has been on my bucket list for along time. Was not disappointed! Seen baby alligators, and aggressive one plus several others! Several birds. Captian John was very informative about the the marsh life!!!!! Even learned about a tree in the marsh that sometimes used for fake crab meat. THIS SOUTHERN INDIANA couple loved it! Thank you Captian John for being part of my bucket list! God Bless
