  • We had a great trip with Captain Jeff. We had the whole boat to ourselves and saw lots of alligators including a Mum protecting her nest. I am terrified of water but I felt extremely safe on the boat. Great experience and would highly recommend.

Went on our 1st airboat ride on Tues. March 11. Honestly, another company was recommended but was full that day. Marsh Beast, thankfully, was able to take us. It was a fabulous excursion!!! We saw 20+ alligators and tons of birds and other wildlife. Jeff was our 'skipper,' and he couldnt have been more informative and fun!! Its real easy to be informative, but it takes talent to be fun. Jeff was all that!!! Thank you ever so much for a wonderful experience. Will highly recommend Marsh Beast and Jeff to our friends, and will definitely want him to navigate all future excursions!! Thank you so much, again!

John, our captain, was especially thoughtful by knowing all the guests names and making sure the children on the boat got special attention, calling them by name to make sure they had a chance to see all the wildlife. Saw many gators, young and old. All types of vegetation. Many varieties of birds, fish and, turtles. Great sense of humor too. Great trip and will be going again.

  • We actually went in a Gator Bait boat. Captain Garrett was a great host. We saw gators, including a gator nest guarded by the momma (lower left of the picture, just her head sticking out of the water), lots of birds (Ospreys my fav, upper right branch in single tree pic). But the highlight for me was just taking the boat ride and seeing the scenery.

  • Marsh Beasts Airboat Rides – A Must-Do in Vero Beach! We had an unforgettable experience with Marsh Beasts Airboat Rides out of Vero Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything felt top-notch. The boat itself was a stunner—bright yellow and green, sleek, and clearly well cared for. My daughter even commented on how comfortable the headphones were. But the real star of the show was Captain John. He struck the perfect balance between fun and facts, especially with our young girls. His energy was infectious, and his knowledge of the marshland and wildlife kept us all engaged. He made sure the kids felt safe and excited, turning the ride into a true adventure. We saw dozens of alligators, some incredibly close! The entire trip was smooth, scenic, and packed with moments we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re anywhere near Vero Beach, don’t miss Marsh Beasts. We’ll definitely be back for another!

Captain Jeff was awesome! The weather was not in our favor to start but Captain Jeff was willing to wait out the storm with us if we wanted. We are so glad we did! We saw so many gators and other awesome wildlife and learned a lot of new information also! Definitely a cool adventure to do if you’re considering!

Come for the gators, stay for the birds (and the majestic beauty and tranquility of the marsh). Captain Jeff is an absolute master and has so much knowledge about - and love for - the ecosystem and all of its species. His enthusiasm is contagious. We had a ✨fabulous✨ time and would do it again in a heartbeat!!
