As a USCG Master Captain, seasoned naturalist, and former commercial fisherman, he offers a unique perspective on Florida’s wild landscapes and rich ecosystems. Are your tours family-friendly?

Yes! Our airboat tours are designed with families in mind. We welcome guests of all ages and provide child-sized life jackets. The experience is both exciting and educational, making it perfect for kids and adults alike.

What's the difference between Marsh Beast and Florida Cracker Airboats?

Marsh Beast Airboat Rides is ideal for individuals, couples, or small groups who want to join a shared airboat tour.

Florida Cracker Airboats offers private tours reserved just for your group — great for families, reunions, or special occasions.

What kind of wildlife will we see?

You may spot alligators, turtles, wading birds, hawks, and more! While we can’t guarantee sightings, our experienced captains know the best places to look.

How long is the tour?

Tours last 50 minutes, depending on weather and water conditions. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time.

Do I need to book in advance?

We highly recommend booking ahead, especially during weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.

What should we bring?

We suggest bringing:

Sunglasses and sunscreen
A hat or visor
Water or snacks (no coolers allowed on the boat)
A camera or phone for photos

Ear protection and life jackets are provided.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. All tours are operated by USCG-licensed captains, and safety is our top priority. We conduct regular equipment checks and provide a safety briefing before every ride.

Are there age or weight restrictions?

There’s no minimum age, but children must be able to sit safely on a bench seat with a life jacket. No infants, and children are not allowed to ride in an adult’s lap. Please contact us ahead of time for guests with special needs or concerns.

What happens in bad weather?

For safety, tours may be delayed or rescheduled due to lightning, high winds, or heavy rain. We’ll work with you to rebook or offer a refund if needed.

We had a great trip with Captain Jeff. We had the whole boat to ourselves and saw lots of alligators including a Mum protecting her nest. I am terrified of water but I felt extremely safe on the boat. Great experience and would highly recommend.

Captain Jack was a lot of fun on our tour. He was very knowledgeable about alligators, flora and fauna. We did get to see quite a few alligators, a nest that the momma alligator was guarding and a snail kite finding a snail. It was a lot of fun.

We had a great time and saw loads of gators, birds and turtles! Our Captain was wonderful and very knowledgeable! The gift shop was adorable and everyone was so friendly. Fantastic spot for some fun for kids and adults. We will definitely be back!

Captain Jeff took us on the most amazing air boat tour! We saw incredible wildlife and learned so many interesting facts! Captain Jeff was hilarious and gave us a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed this tour and definitely plan on coming back for more!

What an experience!!! I brought my 18 year old and we had a blast. Captain John was so knowledgeable about the types of birds and wildlife we saw. We saw some massive gators!! It was everything I expected and more. Highly recommend!! Whenever I have visitors come to visit we will be back!!

We absolutely loved our tour. Captain John was super knowledgeable, funny and hospitable. We saw dozens of gators, from tiny babies to big daddies nearing 12’ long! And the setting was absolutely gorgeous. 10/10!

Air boat tour has been on my bucket list for along time. Was not disappointed! Seen baby alligators, and aggressive one plus several others! Several birds. Captian John was very informative about the the marsh life!!!!! Even learned about a tree in the marsh that sometimes used for fake crab meat. THIS SOUTHERN INDIANA couple loved it!
