Are your tours family-friendly?

Yes! Our airboat tours are designed with families in mind. We welcome guests of all ages and provide child-sized life jackets. The experience is both exciting and educational, making it perfect for kids and adults alike.

What's the difference between Marsh Beast and Florida Cracker Airboats?

Marsh Beast Airboat Rides is ideal for individuals, couples, or small groups who want to join a shared airboat tour.

Florida Cracker Airboats offers private tours reserved just for your group — great for families, reunions, or special occasions.

What kind of wildlife will we see?

You may spot alligators, turtles, wading birds, hawks, and more! While we can’t guarantee sightings, our experienced captains know the best places to look.

How long is the tour?

Tours last 50 minutes, depending on weather and water conditions. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time.

Do I need to book in advance?

We highly recommend booking ahead, especially during weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.

What should we bring?

We suggest bringing:

Sunglasses and sunscreen
A hat or visor
Water or snacks (no coolers allowed on the boat)
A camera or phone for photos

Ear protection and life jackets are provided.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. All tours are operated by USCG-licensed captains, and safety is our top priority. We conduct regular equipment checks and provide a safety briefing before every ride.

Are there age or weight restrictions?

There’s no minimum age, but children must be able to sit safely on a bench seat with a life jacket. No infants, and children are not allowed to ride in an adult’s lap. Please contact us ahead of time for guests with special needs or concerns.

What happens in bad weather?

For safety, tours may be delayed or rescheduled due to lightning, high winds, or heavy rain. We’ll work with you to rebook or offer a refund if needed.

What a great time with an amazing host who was energetic, informative, interesting and skilled! We learned about the birds we saw (tons of them, btw - way more than I expected!), the alligators (we weren't sure we'd see one but we saw several including some babies!), the vegetation, airboats, the history of the area.... and all with some well-timed jokes 🙂 This was such a great activity that we did on the spur of the moment - so glad we did! Even though we thought it'd be hot, when you're moving you got lots of air helping cool you off! Highly recommend MARSH BEAST!

Fabulous and Our group of 8 high school friends had such a great time! Capt. Jeff was knowledgeable about the wetlands, gators, birds, and was a lot of fun!! I would encourage people to take the time and take an airboat ride! It was awesome!!

I would highly recommend Master Beasts Airboat rides. We had a blast. Our guide Tom was very informative and had a great sense of humor. We saw lots of alligators, ospreys and all sorts of birds native to area. It’s a must do if you are ever in the area.

John, our captain, was especially thoughtful by knowing all the guests names and making sure the children on the boat got special attention, calling them by name to make sure they had a chance to see all the wildlife. Saw many gators, young and old. All types of vegetation. Many varieties of birds, fish and, turtles. Great sense of humor too. Great trip and will be going again.

Marsh Beasts Airboat Rides – A Must-Do in Vero Beach! We had an unforgettable experience with Marsh Beasts Airboat Rides out of Vero Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything felt top-notch. The boat itself was a stunner—bright yellow and green, sleek, and clearly well cared for. My daughter even commented on how comfortable the headphones were. But the real star of the show was Captain John. He struck the perfect balance between fun and facts, especially with our young girls. His energy was infectious, and his knowledge of the marshland and wildlife kept us all engaged. He made sure the kids felt safe and excited, turning the ride into a true adventure. We saw dozens of alligators, some incredibly close! The entire trip was smooth, scenic, and packed with moments we’ll be talking about for a long time. Captain Jeff was fun, knowledgeable and eager to show the participants a great time. I brought my Aunt and friend who are 80 yr old adventure seeking women. An airboat ride was on their “bucket lists” and they were thrilled.
